Arajet, the national low-cost carrier of the Dominican Republic, will begin offering nonstop flights between Orlando Sanford International Airport and Punta Cana starting October 26, 2025. The new service expands international travel options for Central Florida residents and visitors.
The flights will operate three times per week — on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays — with one-way fares starting at just 138 dollars. Passengers will fly on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, known for fuel efficiency and onboard comfort.
A Growing Link Between Central Florida and the Caribbean
This route marks Arajet’s sixth destination in the United States and strengthens the airline’s growing presence in Florida. It is expected to be a key travel link for the more than 85,000 Dominican residents in the greater Orlando area, including nearly 10,000 in Seminole County.
According to airport officials, the launch of this connection supports the airport’s long-term strategy to increase international routes and boost economic and cultural exchange across the region.
