IndiGo Airlines has confirmed a 5% bonus for its pilots and cabin crew, a decision taken after the airline posted one of its most successful financial years to date. Exceptional results for the fiscal year 2024–2025
In its latest financial report, IndiGo revealed a net profit of over ₹3,000 crore for the final quarter, a 62% increase compared to the same period last year. Total revenue crossed ₹80,000 crore, making it the first time the airline has passed the $10 billion milestone in annual income.
This growth was fueled by high demand on domestic routes, improved aircraft availability, better fuel cost management, and strategic expansion into new international markets.
Bonus announcement delivered internally
The 5% bonus was communicated to flight staff through an internal message from the company’s human resources team. In the message, leadership praised the continued dedication of cockpit and cabin crew members, stating that their professionalism and consistency had been essential to the airline’s operational success.
“To reflect our appreciation, we are pleased to grant the maximum annual bonus for flying staff,” the message said. For ground staff and other departments, bonuses will follow contractual agreements, although no additional incentive has been introduced this year.
