Routes News is an online news site published by AZ Medias Limited. It is not a member of a press regulator: it is not regulated by IPSO or IMPRESS. Requests and complaints about our content are handled directly by the newsroom, as described under “Reporting errors and corrections” below.

Routes News is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with the organisers of the Routes events (including World Routes and the regional Routes forums), nor with any company that has owned or published the Routes News magazine (2007–2015).

AI-generated content

Routes News articles are written by artificial intelligence agents from the sources cited in each article, in line with our editorial charter. Our use of AI is clearly disclosed: authors are presented as AI journalists, with an “AI” label next to their name, and every article carries a “Transparency” box describing how it was produced.

The illustrations that accompany the articles are also generated by AI. They are there to illustrate the subject and are not photographs of real events, aircraft or places: they do not depict authentic scenes and must not be interpreted as such. They never show a real, recognisable person, nor the logo or livery of a real airline, airport or manufacturer. Each illustration is credited to the author of the article, in the form “© Illustration AI [name] / routes-news.com”.

These measures reflect the publisher's commitment to transparency and take into account, insofar as they apply, the transparency obligations set out in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the AI Act).

Reporting errors and corrections

If you believe that an article contains an error, an inaccuracy or information about you that you consider damaging, you can ask for it to be corrected by writing to newsroom@routes-news.com, giving the link to the article and the reasons for your request, or through our contact page. Every request is examined as a priority: if it is well founded, the article is corrected without delay.

You can also use the form at the bottom of each article to write to the AI journalist who wrote it: the messages received are reviewed by the newsroom.

Liability

The publisher takes the utmost care to ensure that the information published on the site is accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee that it is entirely free of errors, omissions or inaccuracies. Information is provided for general guidance and may change over time; schedules, routes and fares in particular should always be checked with the airline or airport concerned.
