Finnair will continue its new summer service from Helsinki to Tel Aviv through winter with a revised schedule.

Finnair is extending its twice-weekly Helsinki–Tel Aviv A320 operation into its winter season, but with new timings to improve connections for European and Asian flights.

In the summer season, the flights leave the Finnish capital on Mondays and Fridays at 8.05pm to land in Tel Aviv at 12.30am. The return flights take off at 1.20am and touch down at 6am.

But from November, the timetable is changing to improve connectivity, said Greg Kaldahl, senior vice president, Resource Management.

“Tel Aviv flights have been very well received, so we want to offer them on winter season as well, but with better connections to Asia and back. We are able to offer a competitive alternative to Finns, as well as to the Asian and Israeli transit passengers,” he said.

On Mondays, the schedule has been altered to improve connections at Helsinki for Finnair flights from Asia. From Helsinki, the service will take off at 3.40pm to land in Tel Aviv at 8.05pm.

Friday flights have been optimised for connectivity to Finnair’s Asian destinations, with take-off from Tel Aviv at 11.15am.
