Wizz Air and travel technology provider Amadeus have reached an agreement that will make Wizz Air content available through the Amadeus Travel Platform for the first time, the two companies announced.
What the deal delivers
Under the arrangement, Wizz Air content will be accessible to Amadeus’ network of travel sellers in selected markets via the Amadeus Ticketless Access (ATLA) solution. The move is intended to broaden the airline’s distribution footprint by allowing travel management companies, travel agencies, online travel agencies (OTAs), tour operators and other retail travel businesses to search for and book Wizz Air flights and ancillaries through existing Amadeus workflows.
- Distribution channel: Amadeus Travel Platform (via ATLA)
- Target users: TMCs, travel agencies, OTAs, tour operators and retail travel businesses
- Scope: selected markets (as stated by the companies)
Commercial significance
The agreement represents a notable shift in Wizz Air’s distribution strategy by placing the carrier’s fares and ancillary offers directly into the booking flows used by a wide range of travel sellers. For travel sellers, the integration promises a single platform through which they can access Wizz Air’s inventory alongside other carriers, simplifying searches and bookings for both leisure and corporate customers.
Wizz Air framed the collaboration as a way to increase visibility and support the airline’s growth by connecting to Amadeus’ marketplace reach and ecosystem capabilities. The carrier also highlighted the potential benefit for corporate travel buyers and business travellers, who will be able to access Wizz Air fares through tools they already use via Amadeus.
“As Wizz Air continues to grow, we are constantly looking for new ways to make our extensive network and affordable fares more accessible to travelers. Making our content available for the first time through the Amadeus Travel Platform will enable Amadeus’ extensive network of travel sellers to access our fares and ancillaries, further improving the accessibility of our offers. We are delighted to take this step together with Amadeus and look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring to the travel ecosystem,” stated Silvia Mosquera, Marketing & Revenue Officer at Wizz Air.
Operational and market notes
The agreement uses Amadeus’ ATLA ticketless distribution method rather than traditional e-ticketing. The companies said the integration will make it easier for travel sellers to include Wizz Air in itinerary searches and to sell bundled offers and ancillary services through familiar Amadeus workflows. The announcement did not specify which markets are included in the initial rollout nor detailed timelines for full availability.

For route development and airport commercial teams, the agreement could alter how Wizz Air inventory appears in global distribution system-based searches and may influence the ease with which travel sellers package Wizz Air flights with ground services or multi-leg itineraries. For corporate buyers, the change may improve access to low-cost fares within managed-booking environments that rely on Amadeus.
The companies described the arrangement as a milestone in Wizz Air’s distribution strategy and said it would support the airline’s continued growth by increasing visibility across the travel trade.
