Greenpoint Technologies has secured a contract to complete the interiors of two Boeing Business Jet 787-8 aircraft for a confidential client, adding a new twin-aircraft programme to the company’s VVIP completion activity.
The work will be carried out at Greenpoint’s modification facility in Moses Lake, Washington. The company will be responsible for the interior integration of both aircraft, working with third-party designers to develop cabins in line with the client’s requirements.
Engineering and certification included
Greenpoint’s scope covers the main stages required to bring the aircraft interiors into service. It includes engineering, manufacturing, installation and certification, rather than design development alone. The contract therefore places the completion provider at the centre of the programme from technical preparation through to the certification work needed for the finished cabins.
| Programme | Aircraft | Client | Location | Work |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| New completion contract | Two BBJ 787-8 aircraft | Confidential | Moses Lake, Washington | Interior integration, engineering, manufacturing, installation and certification |
“It is an honour to be selected for this important programme. This contract reflects the confidence our clients place in our team to deliver highly complex aircraft interiors with quality, precision and consistency. We look forward to bringing these two exceptional aircraft to life.”
Klaus Koester, chief executive officer of Greenpoint Technologies, said the agreement reflected customer confidence in the company’s ability to deliver complex aircraft interiors. The client’s identity and the detailed cabin specifications have not been disclosed.
Further Boeing completion work
The BBJ 787-8 programme follows a separate contract signed earlier in 2026 for a BBJ 787-9 interior completion programme. Greenpoint has also worked across Boeing’s commercial aircraft platforms, providing completion, modification and maintenance services for private individuals, corporations and heads of state.
The company’s stated activities cover both the physical completion of private aircraft cabins and the technical work associated with modifying commercial platforms for private use. In this latest programme, the two aircraft will be handled through the same Moses Lake facility, with third-party designers contributing to the interior development before Greenpoint undertakes the integration and certification phases.
